Full course description

In this final course of the Accessible Documents Training Series, you'll build on the foundational accessibility principles introduced in the Word and PowerPoint trainings—such as using alt text, maintaining reading order, and designing with accessibility in mind.

Now, we’ll take those principles further as we explore how to create, test, and remediate PDFs for accessibility. You’ll learn how to work with PDF tags, adjust reading and tab order, apply Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to scanned documents, and ensure your content is fully compliant with Section 508 standards.

By the end of this course, you’ll have the skills and tools to ensure your PDFs are not just shareable—but usable by everyone. Let’s get started on making your documents more accessible and inclusive for all!
